Jen Koster, Chiropractic Assistant
Hi, my name is Jen. I’ve been working here at LEVA Chiropractic since June, 2023. I live in the Olympia area with my husband, Steve, and together we have six kids. I enjoy gardening, singing, church, warm weather, and family-centered time.
In March 2016, after a foot surgery, my body went into an autoimmune nightmare. I was very slow to recover and developed Lupus like symptoms, my mood went downhill and whole body hurt. I was so bad that I had to stop working. My days were filled with as little as possible because of the pain. The migraines I had been plagued with since my teen years got worse.
Through an injury of my eldest son, I reconnected with Dr. Sweet, as we went to high school together. I diligently brought my son in, (He has his own life changing story to tell!) all the while knowing I needed care too, but was focused on helping him. After about a year, I was talking with my dad, about AO chiropractic and how I just knew it would help me; he generously offered to pay for care.
I had life changing results! One month after I began care, in October 2021, I was able to work again, after FIVE years! My migraines let up and I was able to stop the medications I took for them. The nagging pain in my neck lessened and I was able to clearly think for what I believe was the first time. I was less forgetful and I was able to move my body. I have taken MANY small steps to get to where I am today and will never look back. Life is not about being perfect, but a journey to become who you were created to be. Through my faith, support of my husband, help of family and AO chiropractic, I have taken back my life!
